Rockland Harbor Hotel

The property was clean and wonderful. Newly renovated building, absolutely perfect and excellent location so close to restaurants and shops and the harbor, the Vinalhaven ferry, and all dining, shops. Also, in an attractive dining area. Stocked, brand-new unit with balcony, and helpful staff. A balcony and a safe box were nice.

Overall it was stocked with balcony.

Wonderful and best possible location close to Rockland Ferry Terminal. Loved that we were close to a ferry port, it was great for exploring Rockland.

Well-equipped and well decorated unit with a microwave oven, coffee/tea making machines and fridges. Down pillows, nice bed...

Recommend for a city trip

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with the added bonus of a great view of the harbor from our newly renovated space. Efficient amenities like free parking and 24-hour reception helped.

Heater was not as warm as we would have liked it to be.

I was particularly impressed by the clean, comfortable rooms and the warm, cute decor throughout the Rockland Harbor Hotel. The outdoor seating area provided space for relaxation and socializing.

Breakfast variety could use improvement for seniors.

The friendly staff provided great service, and I appreciated the warm decor. The only downside was the somewhat noisy AC. A lovely experience in Rockland.

The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony with a view of the harbor. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. The staff here are friendly and cute.

Great spot near the ferry!

The room was comfy and clean, and we were super close to the ferry , made catching it easy. The staff was friendly, but I did get kinda yelled at for jumping the gun on breakfast. The snack bar was handy, so I didn't have to brave the cold for food.

Great room with nice view, but the Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

Unfortunately, the deck off our room had about an inch of standing water. We also had issues with smoke from nearby guests drifting into our room. The hotel could benefit from a non-smoking policy to enhance the experience for those who prefer a cleaner environment.

Comfortable Stay with Minor Drawbacks

We enjoyed the harbor view from our room, but the a/c unit could be quieter. The staff were responsive to our needs, providing alternative bedding promptly. For future guests, consider bringing bug spray during peak summer months, as the sliding doors lack screens.

The hotel offered a beautiful harbor view and spacious, clean rooms. A minor drawback was the cramped breakfast area and the use of disposable cutlery. Despite this, the friendly staff and the location across from the ferry were highlights.

Just a smart choice for a hurried visit in Rockland with excellent value. The balcony view of the harbor was surprisingly relaxing. Parking can get tricky late at night, so arrive early to secure a spot.
